CALL FOR PAPERS

The Annual Conference of the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters will be held March 21, 2008 at the University of Utah. Proposals for papers in all disciplines are welcome. A Poster Session is also available. Conference papers will be considered for publication in the refereed Journal of the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters.

Information for authors interested in submitting papers for publication in the Journal will be provided at the conference. Papers are also eligible for consideration for a cash award for the "Best Paper" awarded in each division.

All presenters must be members of UASAL. Membership is $25 per year which includes lunch at the annual conference (students offered discounted rate for conference participation only). UASAL membership and conference registration forms are available here.

Send title of paper or poster and a short abstract (150 words or less) by March 3, 2008 to the appropriate division chair. Be sure to include your mailing address, phone number, email address and fax number.

Pre-registration for the conference is recommended since the luncheon reservation deadline is March 1, 2008. Same day registration will be available; however, lunch will not be available for same day registrants.
